Become a partner

The Coalition is an international working group open to new partners and calling for cooperation. Up to date, the Coalition has 26 partners coming from different parts of the world who all have contributed their expertise and knowledge as well as helped promote the Coalition Against Stalkerware at national and international level.

By joining the Coalition, a new partner agrees to work with the Coalition Against Stalkerware in collaborations including, but not limited to:

  • Sharing expertise on stalkerware and its use in intimate partner violence (“IPV”) and/or unwanted surveillance and abuse
  • Engaging in public awareness and education campaigns to highlight the nature of the threat and nuances of the issues
  • Providing content for the Coalition’s public-facing website and future externally-facing resources
  • Translating content on the Coalition’s website or other externally-facing resources
  • Collating information regarding existing legal/regulatory frameworks regarding the misuse of potentially unwanted technologies deployed without user consent
  • Participating in an information-sharing information mechanism on stalkerware samples and related metadata to improve detection and mitigation
  • Collaborating on the development of consensus-based definitions and detection criteria
  • Partnering to develop best practices on user notifications regarding the potential presence of stalkerware to account for risk escalation and safety planning concerns
  • Assisting domestic violence advocacy and direct service organizations with building technical capacity and technical knowledge
