The Institute for Technology and Journalism (ITUJ) is a non-profit organization based in Berlin. Its mission is to critically examine technological developments – especially digitalization – through education, foster informed public dialogue, and help ensure that technology serves the public good.
Guided by this mission, ITUJ has developed and supported projects for several years that promote empowerment, equality, and transparency in the digital world. Its flagship initiative today is “A Team Against Digital Violence”, which operates a technical support center for women’s shelters and specialist domestic violence support services in Germany.
